The Global Sales Manager, Renal Care that supports our Calibration Solutions business has responsibility for all sales activities for Mesa’s Global Renal Care business. In the USA, this business is highly concentrated among 5 large key accounts, with a long tail of independent hospitals and clinics representing the balance. Outside the USA, Mesa works through a network of distribution partners. The incumbent must be comfortable operating as a player/coach leading direct and channel sales strategy and execution while developing a small team of sales personnel.

Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Uses Key Account Management process and tools to build and develop effective partnerships which add value and grow share.
  • Deep understanding of renal dialysis care processes and evolving trends and regulations.
  • Established personal credibility and network of relationships within the clinical and operational renal dialysis care customer base
  • Effective at consultative, value-selling to complex, multi-stakeholder accounts.
  • Effective at driving results through developing a network of relationships with influencers and key decision-makers.
  • Comfortable leading commercial maturation and supporting change management.
  • Experienced leading direct reports, providing coaching and development while managing performance.
  • Strong communication skills and able to deliver clear and candid messages both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with contract strategy, development, and ongoing management
  • Experienced with CRM and funnel management tools and behaviors
  • Channel management experience, including global experience is preferred.
  • Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment. Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.
  • Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Morale) targets through a visual work environment.
  • Comply with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree - Required
  • Minimum 10 years in Medical Device Sales/Marketing, Renal/Dialysis experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years people management

Compensation/Benefits:

The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this position. The package includes base salary, commission, equity, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.

Base Salary Range for this position is $100-130K plus a competitive commission structure.
